Travel and Transportation

Situated in the east of the province of Ontario, the city is less than two (2) hours west of Montréal, a one (1) hour flight east from Toronto, and only one (1) hour away from the US/Canada border. Whether you arrive by car, train, plane, or sea, transport is simple and easy.

Ottawa International Airport

Less than twenty (20) minutes away by car from downtown Ottawa, the Ottawa International Airport (YOW) offers airport services to and from most cities in Canada and the US and offer seasonal services to and from Europe, Caribbean and South America.

Train

VIA Rail offers regular train service to Ottawa from both west and east to the Ottawa Central Station located a little bit east of the center of the city.

Bus and Taxis

OC Transpo offers a rapid transit service to downtown Ottawa from Ottawa International Airport, Ottawa Central Station, and the Ottawa Bus Terminal. The bus is a safe and affordable way to get around.
